Well the East-meets-West group had a great week. Some of these people met each other for the first time but all seemed to gel and a great deal of work was accomplished. 32 suitcases of donations were sorted and stored. We Can Read!

Friday, November 22 was a great day in the lives of 15 women from San Bernabe. All of these women began a journey last February; a journey that they know will help them to a better life. That journey was to learn to read and write. The women celebrated this very happy day by decorating the room where they attended their lessons and enjoying a delicious lunch together. November 14th, 2013 – Day 6

Today, we were up bright and early for breakfast. Three of us went to teach CPR to some children at the school in Paraxaj. We taught CPR and choking to about 30 children, with hands-on practice. Meanwhile, the other six went to a church at La Herimte for a clinic and saw 121 patients. With less workers, it was very busy. We saw some "Shark Pain" which was actually sharp pain.
