Greenbank Mission Team – Thank You!

A big Thank you to this wonderful team! Let us take a look at the many accomplishments they undertook while in Guatemala. They built a home for William and his family. William attends our school and was one of our most needy families. The kind mother in law allowed them to build a home on her small piece of property where they now all live together. The team furnished it and dedicated it to them with of gifts of clothing, shoes and hygiene

I would like to thank the team from Mississippi. USA for a fantastic week loving and helping the children, families and the Elders in the community of Parramos, Chimaltenango.  All your hard work in building stoves, painting, working with the children, and moms and the Elders will forever be in their hearts and ours.  You all have blessed our communities and our organization very much. God bless each and every one of you. Thank you!

Thank You – Monique’s Team

It has been another busy week here in Guatemala!  On Monday, Monique, Meaghan, and Viola spent their morning installing a stove in the home they built for Mateo and his family.  They finished the stove in just a few hours, meaning that everything was ready for the home dedication in the afternoon. Because Mateo was off working in the early afternoon, the team dedicated the home later in the day. Mateo is only 14 years old, but he acts as the man

“Gracias” and “Hasta Luego!” to the Machry Family!

It was an incredible week here in Guatemala with the Machry Family. We are forever thankful for the time, resources, and energy that this family has invested in our ministry. In just one short week, the men were able to complete the home for Mynor's family with the help and guidance of Angel. They worked extremely hard, and we know they have been blessed for helping to bless others! The women worked with several of the co-ops, introducing new

Thank You!

Loving Arms would like to send our most sincere gratitude to the FBC West Point team that left Guatemala last week. In just one week, this team of 23 made a huge impact on our ministry, especially our preschool. Through many important activities, such as building a large portion of the security wall around the school, meeting with the preschool parents, organizing the supply room at the preschool, and conducting activities for the upcoming preschoolers,

Gracias por su ayuda!

Everytime Kelsey and Mary Madeline make their way down to Guatemala, they seem to have a great time. Even cold showers and cooking their own food (nothing burnt!) did not stop them from helping our Guatemala team. They seem to count their time spent in Guatemala as one of their many Blessings! This duo also help sort out Alicia’s storeroom! Suitcase upon suitcase were emptied with crafts, clothes, uniforms and other donations sorted. The children

Many thanks to Leaders Meghan and Brian

Loving Arms appreciates the hard work that this team put forth during their stay in Guatemala. As most of you know it is our hope that a new school will open in January 2016 at our Centre of Hope. This team worked diligently and willingly to complete the second section of the cement security wall. Hopefully all the walls will be completed this year as other teams come to Guatemala to help. Not only did this work include mixing the cement (by hand)

Amazing Work by an Amazing Group!

At this time of the year, all of us here in North America are celebrating. Families and friends are gathering to enjoy good food and good times. This group brought some of our traditions to the families of Guatemala. A skit of the Christmas Story was presented to the children and they loved it! The team told them all about how Jesus was born and how Christmas, His birthday, came to be. There was a worship band, coffee and tamales. It was not all
